DOUG THOMAS - FRENCH HORN AND BEGINNER TRUMPET
Doug Thomas grew up in a musical family: his mother a piano teacher and father an opera coach. His younger years were spent exploring various instruments but in 7th grade his orchestra teacher introduced him to the horn. He participated in youth orchestras, school and private groups while in high school to then study music at Occidental college, primarily composition and conducting. Doug graduated with a BA in music in 1992.
